Requirements & Design Collaboration

Acceptance criteria

Conditions that must be true for a story to be done.

What it is

Clarify expected behavior and edge cases. Often written as bullet points or Gherkin (Given/When/Then) scenarios that QA can run as-is.

Concrete example

“Given I'm logged in as a tech, when I open the app I see only my assigned jobs; jobs are sorted by start time; completed jobs are hidden.”

When to use it

Every user story. If the team can't agree on acceptance criteria, the story isn't ready.

What Product Joi delivers
